Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests; engage in document examination, including electronic discovery
  • Draft legal motions, briefs, and pleadings for both state and federal jurisdictions
  • Conduct thorough legal research and compile associated memoranda
  • Participate in and lead depositions, as well as court proceedings
  • Organize and oversee all documentation pertinent to cases
  • Execute other assigned tasks and responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in litigation is essential, with a preference for expertise in commercial or real estate litigation
  • Prior experience in a courtroom setting is mandatory
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery software is advantageous
  • Exceptional legal writing capabilities are required
  • Must hold a valid license to practice law in Illinois and maintain good standing
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt swiftly to changing circumstances
