Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist
Job Summary: CrossMed is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in Labor and Delivery care.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
