Job Description

At Red Mile Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Security Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical security and safety of our patrons and employees, safeguarding our assets, and protecting our property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine personnel requirements and plan on-the-job training for Security Officers.
  • Continuously evaluate personnel for alertness, appearance, and proper performance of duties.
  • Respond to all calls for assistance and emergencies on campus, internal and external.
  • Investigate complaints from guests and employees, and follow up with Surveillance on matters captured by video surveillance.
  • Prepare and submit written and verbal reports.
  • Contact emergency entities and other outside resources as needed to manage an incident.
  • Ensure Red Mile equipment and assets are in a state of operational readiness.
  • Coach, counsel, and administer discipline within established authority.

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years prior Security or relevant experience.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • One (1) year prior Security supervisory experience (desirable).
  • Associates Degree or equivalent hours of education from an institution of higher learning (desirable).

Physical Requirements:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. while performing the duties of this job. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time and occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. Excessive walking, standing, exposed to extreme temperatures as must go from interior to exterior of the building during all seasons and weather conditions.
