Summary: As a Housekeeper (Part-Time Saturday Only) with The Minte, Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our customers' residences. Your duties will include cleaning and dusting living spaces, mopping and vacuuming, emptying trash, washing dishes, cleaning bathroom fixtures, making beds, replenishing linens, doing laundry, and ironing and folding.

Essential Functions:

  1. Be consistent and punctual, arriving at client sites 10 minutes prior to appointment times.
  2. Be accessible by phone during work hours and respond quickly to schedule changes via phone, text, or email.
  3. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
  4. Change and launder linens.
  5. Clean and sanitize all surfaces.
  6. Vacuum and mop.
  7. Dispose of trash.
  8. Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
  9. Clean inside appliances.
  10. Provide outstanding customer service.
  11. Show consistent strong organization in all aspects of your job.
  12. Use company-approved cleaning supplies.
  13. Adhere to health and safety rules and practices.
  14. Perform other duties as directed.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration and fumes. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Take precaution with client's fragile items. Have minimal breakage incidents.

Travel: No travel is expected for this position. Changing location to get to another building might be required during working hours.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience (hotel and/or home), required.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
