Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of experienced professionals across multiple locations, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve availability, incident management, problem management, disaster recovery, and continuous monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the team to create and maintain system documentation, including diagrams, configuration details, admin guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Oversee laptop and desktop imaging processes, ensuring infrastructure support for this activity.
  • Meet with clients to discuss project requirements and clarify expectations.
  • Track task and project performance, analyzing successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Utilize expert knowledge to influence project leaders regarding solution design, process, and approaches.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.
  • ITIL certification.
  • 5+ years of Operations Manager experience in areas such as availability management, incident management, problem management, disaster recovery management, continuous monitoring management, change management, patch management.
  • Experience with training and mentoring new and existing team members.
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of Linux experience.
  • DoD 8570 Level II - Security+CE.
  • 8+ years of experience in presentation and briefing.
  • 8+ years of experience in planning and delegation for efficient team operations.
  • Bachelor's degree.
