About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor Supervisor to join our team at Marin Water. As a key member of our Engineering Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating land surveying activities, providing technical guidance and supervision to staff, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of survey work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate land surveying activities, including field surveys, mapping, and data analysis.
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to staff, including training and mentoring.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of survey work, including reviewing and approving survey plans and reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and implement surveying procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain surveying equipment and software, including GPS and CAD systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Professional Land Surveyor license issued by the State of California.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid California driver's license.
