Job Title: Wind Turbine Technician

Clearway Energy, Inc. is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of parts.
  • Conduct visual inspections of wind turbines to identify potential issues and perform repairs as needed.
  • Assist in the installation and removal of wind turbines, including lifting and moving heavy equipment.
  • Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment, including cranes and forklifts.
  • Document all work performed, including time spent and parts used.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to climb towers unassisted up to 300 feet.
  • Ability to work safely in a confined space.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Previous experience in wind turbine maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of SAP software.
