Job Summary

RWE Renewables America, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Wind Farm Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wind farms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines and related equipment
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Assist in training and development of junior technicians
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and equipment performance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in operations and/or maintenance in power generation, transmission, and/or distribution
  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot and repair
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
