Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Analysis: Track and report financial data and reports in our ERP system to support real-time financial positions.
  • ERP System Optimization: Leverage ERP system capabilities to enhance planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and variances.
  • Cost Accounting System Development: Develop and maintain cost accounting system, policies, and procedures within the ERP system, including dashboards, Smartsheet, and other financial planning tools.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and inventory costs to ensure accuracy and identify variances.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze cost reports and financial statements.
  • Financial Guidance: Provide guidance on the financial implications of decisions and advise on systems for recording financial data.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies, and support audits and resolve discrepancies, including inventory levels and reconciling inventory accounts.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including collaboration and presentation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software, such as NetSuite, Oracle, UKG, ReportsNow, and SmartSheet.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of detail and accuracy.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • Experience: 5 years relevant work experience in a related field, including 3+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial project accounting, or related experience.
  • Preferred Skills: NetSuite and/or UKG experience preferred.
