Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lamination Operator to join our production team at Associated Materials. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the lamination machine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Lamination Machine: Ensure the proper operation of the lamination machine, including setup, production, and shutdown procedures.
  • Document and Communicate Production Data: Accurately document and communicate production data to the department manager, including quality control metrics and production volumes.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Work safely, completing daily safety audits, and take proactive measures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with supervisor, lead, and co-workers to achieve production goals and maintain a positive team atmosphere.
  • Perform Quality Control Checks: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure products meet customer requirements and company standards.
  • Assist with Troubleshooting: Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production issues, including equipment malfunctions and material quality concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent desirable.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a lamination or assembly role.
  • Skills: Basic math skills, ability to lift 50 pounds or greater, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift, push, pull, and move materials as needed.
