Job Summary:

As a Cyber Technical Analyst Advisor at General Dynamics, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation. You will apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Your work will have a significant impact as you deliver your best every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and respond to customer communications and identify potential leads by exploiting customer information
  • Utilize customer-provided tools to correlate and enhance initial leads and coordinate leads with other customer partner organizations
  • Deliver and sustain a cadre of cyber analytic personnel
  • Recommend innovative management ideas and solutions related to Cyber Analytics
  • Plan, prepare, and execute tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements, as well as analyze and report test results
  • Perform assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identify where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy
  • Measure the effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities
  • Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support obtaining certification and accreditation of systems
  • Assist in the implementation of required government policy (i.e., NISPOM, DCID 6/3) and make recommendations on process tailoring
  • Perform extensive analyses to validate established security requirements and recommend additional security requirements and safeguards
  • Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports
  • Periodically conduct a review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed
  • Provide advanced guidance and leadership to less-experienced cybersecurity personnel
Requirements:
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor of Science or better in Computer Science with a minimum of ten (8+) years as a Technical Targeter
  • Meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and demonstrate maturity in their work
  • Strong understanding of cyber analytic principles and practices
  • Experience supporting cyber threat analysis, the production of cyber-related analytic products, and the technical analysis of targeted cyber environments and systems
  • The position is on customer site
