Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacist Intern. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Distributing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Performing clerical duties such as filing patient records and processing insurance claims
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administering immunizations as allowed by state boards of pharmacy
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Currently enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy program, with first professional year (P1) completed before start of internship
- Active licensure as a pharmacist intern in state of Oregon
- Sponsorship for employment-based work authorization
- Knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology
