Nursing Professional Ambulatory Surgical Services Role

This Part Time, 24 hours per week position offers a chance to work with a talented team of medical professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. As an Ambulatory Surgical Services Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
Job SummaryThis role involves assessing patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. You will perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
You will also administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication. Additionally, you will provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.

Requirements- Two years of RN experience preferred
- Associate Degree of Nursing Required, BSN Preferred
- Registered Nurse License issued by the Department of Health Professions, Commonwealth of Virginia or Registered Nurse with 'multi-state privilege' granted to them by virtue of holding a license in one of the states participating in the Nurse Licensure Compact Agreement and who has not established permanent residency in Virginia required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
The estimated salary for this role is $$95,441 per year, based on industry standards and location.
