We are seeking a reliable and organized Construction Stormwater Field Technician I to support our Environmental Services Division in College Station, TX. The successful candidate will work outdoors in various weather conditions, installing stormwater control products, and contributing to compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fieldwork to support environmental projects.
  • Assist with environmental construction monitoring for various projects.
  • Participate and/or coordinate activities of subcontractors on assigned projects.
  • Interact with clients as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Zero (0) – three (3) years' of applicable experience.
  • Possess valid Texas driver's license and meet company's auto insurability requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, be self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to drive company vehicle and manage assigned jobs efficiently and on time is essential.

The following physical activities are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Regularly stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and utilize hand tools such as sledgehammers, shovels, and picks.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and drive vehicle short and/or long distances.

May be required to frequently work near moving mechanical parts, predominately work in outdoor weather conditions, and occasionally work with vibration. This position may include some exposure to loud noise.

This position may require protracted or irregular hours. Flexibility to work irregular hours is necessary due to client needs. Work responsibilities will require out of town travel to project locations.
