The Swift Group is currently seeking an Acquisition Professional to enhance their operations.
Overview:
The Acquisition Professional will play a crucial role in supporting program management and contributing to the analysis and formulation of enhanced policies, strategies, methodologies, procedures, and systems within acquisition management frameworks. This position will involve providing insights on elements affecting cost, timeline, performance, and risk. Furthermore, the professional will guide the interpretation and customization of acquisition regulations to ensure the delivery of cost-effective and efficient systems to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist program leaders in creating program documentation, developing schedules, tracking progress, assessing risks, and managing integrated product teams.
- Provide guidance on the interpretation of DoD acquisition regulations, ensuring effective delivery of systems to clients.
- Collaborate with project teams and contracting personnel to ensure the completeness of all necessary documentation.
- Support the development of program and acquisition documentation, schedule creation, status tracking, alternative evaluations, and product team management.
- Apply established acquisition and financial management policies and procedures.
- Assist in identifying and gathering Minimum Acquisition Requirements.
- Support compliance reviews of acquisition documentation.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of fifteen years of experience in DoD acquisition management, program management, and/or contract management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in a field related to acquisition and professional certification from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Additional certifications such as DAWIA III or PMP are advantageous.
- Experience with FACTS is preferred.
Security Clearance:
- A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
