Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher/Order Taker to join our team at Ideal Ready Mix Company, Inc. This role is responsible for receiving, assigning, and scheduling work orders to ensure timely completion of operations and projects.

• Receive and record orders from approved customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate the Sysdyne Concrete Go dispatch system, performing direct data entry with precision.
• Verify specification compliance of all dispatched orders, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Monitor cycle times, weather, demand graphs, production, and delivery status, adjusting assignments to optimize efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, production supervisors, and clients to ensure seamless service and production.
• Answer inbound and make outbound calls, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information as needed.
• Assist with assigning orders to plants and scheduling production to maximize delivery efficiency.
• Complete dispatching and delivery documentation, forwarding orders and sales information as required.
• Coordinate delivery-drivers' activities and trucking assignments with the Production Manager and Production Specialist.
• Answer routine customer inquiries regarding delivery, credit, invoicing, and accounts' balances.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Two + years construction and/or ready-mix experience highly preferred; but not required.
• Minimum one year dispatching experience a plus.

This role requires a standard office environment with moderate noise levels. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
