Licensed Fire Alarm Systems Technician - Industrial Sector - Competitive Hourly Rate

  • Our organization collaborates with a leading industrial electrical design and construction contractor that has been a prominent player in the industry since 1987. Renowned for their expertise in electrical contracting, our client works alongside major manufacturing firms on the development of new industrial facilities across various regions.
  • We are in search of a qualified Fire Alarm Systems Technician to manage the installation of a cutting-edge fire alarm system in a newly constructed facility. The ideal candidate will have the requisite experience and hold a valid Fire Alarm Installer License.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant state and local regulations.
  • Guarantee that all installations adhere to safety standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and on-site teams to ensure timely task completion.
  • Diagnose and resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process.
  • Supervise and assess the performance of subordinate staff, providing training as necessary.
  • Conduct field oversight and quality assurance reviews of contractor work, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Perform inspections and tests to confirm that installations are executed in a professional manner and adhere to best engineering practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Fire Alarm Installer License, required
  • Demonstrated experience in the installation of fire alarm systems.
  • Thorough understanding of pertinent safety regulations and codes.
