Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team at David Home Solutions. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to construction, including installations, cutting and measuring building materials, demolition, and customer interaction.Responsibilities- Perform installations, cutting and measuring building materials, and demolition tasks under the direct supervision of the Project Supervisor.
- Interact with customers to ensure their needs are met and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist the Foreman with daily construction tasks and contribute to the overall success of the project.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate ability to navigate through company internet-based time-card system.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Perform moderately strenuous tasks, including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Possess basic math skills necessary to complete measurements at job sites and demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 3+ years of experience working in a construction related field.
- Valid driver's license and ability to navigate through company internet-based time-card system.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers, and possess basic math skills necessary to complete measurements at job sites.
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical preferred.
