Position Overview:

The Regent Hotel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Team Member who possesses a proven track record in managing bar operations and staff to deliver high-quality service. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service while overseeing daily bar activities, managing a team of bar staff, addressing guest concerns, and reporting any issues to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Supervise and train bar staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve workplace issues effectively.
  • Coordinate front-end service with back-of-house operations for seamless guest interactions.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the company's brand values.
  • Manage product knowledge and ensure quality delivery of beverages.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of staff training programs.
  • Utilize EPOS systems efficiently for bar operations.
  • Demonstrate effective management of challenging customer interactions.
  • Oversee cellar management and cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Personal License Holder.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a customer-focused bar management role.
