About the Role:
The AV Generalist position at Marist College is a technical role that plays a pivotal part in the Media Center's tiered support model. The successful candidate will possess strong customer service skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively with a student workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain best practices and supervise a student workforce in answering support calls or managing problem reports.
- Maintain best practice and supervise a student workforce in processing equipment loans.
- Schedule events requests, reserve facilities, and order supplies.
- Set up and operate audio-visual equipment in classrooms and audio video production facilities.
- Participate in second-line troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, escalating issues to appropriate staff as needed.
- Support events that require audio visual systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory assets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Associates degree in a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience or 3+ years of relevant experience.
