Job Summary
The Adolescent IOP Mental Health Therapist provides therapy services to children and adolescents through intensive outpatient programs, group programming, and clinical services. They are responsible for related clinical, administrative, and quality and compliance responsibilities.
- Provides group and individual therapy sessions to clients
- Assesses clients on a daily basis for safety, ADLs, and mental status
- Develops therapeutic relationships and CBT/DBT-informed group content
- Communicates client progress and interactions with staff
- Completes daily clinical documentation and participates in supervision and professional development
Requirements
- Two years post-master's experience
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) core skills
- LPC, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or in the process of obtaining
- Prior experience working with adolescents in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient, or residential settings
