Your Role:


As a Manufacturing Process Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our innovation efforts, delivering technical guidance and engineering support to our production teams.

You will work alongside a diverse group of dedicated individuals to create sustainable solutions that enhance mobility, promote well-being, and improve everyday life.

Your responsibilities will include optimizing current processes, devising new and cost-efficient manufacturing strategies, and training process technicians while collaborating with maintenance teams to address tooling and equipment challenges through systematic troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and effective corrective actions.


What We Seek:
Innovate new and cost-effective manufacturing strategies. Lead initiatives to minimize waste through lean methodologies. Actively engage in value enhancement projects.
Provide technical guidance, process development, and engineering support to the production floor.

This encompasses Extrusion, Secondary Operations, and packaging sectors to ensure timely product delivery while meeting customer expectations regarding cost and quality.

Deliver technical insights and responses to customer service inquiries as necessary.

Guide extrusion technicians and collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve tooling and equipment issues using systematic troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and effective corrective action implementation.

Support the seamless launch of new product initiatives through active involvement in FMEA, part and tool design reviews, Kaizen, and other cross-functional team activities.

Execute validation and qualification protocols for new products, equipment, tooling, and processes.
Adhere to SOPs for the re-validation of existing equipment, tooling, and processes.

Collaborate closely with internal and external engineers to develop processes that align with customer expectations for cost, quality, and timely delivery of new product development.

Document lessons learned and provide timely updates on the status of all projects and assignments.

Create, revise, and implement process documentation, including PCOs, work instructions, manufacturing procedures, sample requests, process, inspection, and troubleshooting guides.

Ensure timely closure of assigned CAPAs.
Complete project tasks and report progress in a timely manner. Utilize project management tools to establish timelines, create action item lists, and achieve milestones.
Understand and comply with SOPs and work instructions relevant to your specific area.
Communicate effectively and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Perform additional duties as required in addition to the essential responsibilities outlined above.

Key Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience in medical device manufacturing and process enhancement, including root cause analysis.
Experience with thermoplastics extrusion, molding, and/or assembly processes is highly desirable.
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Ability to communicate positively and work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve collective goals.
Comprehend college-level algebra, physics, basic chemistry, statistics, and unit conversions.
