Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team at Park Place Motorcars Dallas. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for ensuring an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates.
Key Responsibilities- Determine client needs and specify parts accurately
- Create and modify purchase orders and issue them to vendors to order parts
- Record warranty parts returned
- Create special-ordered parts on our dealership computer system and notify the ASM, Technician, or client upon receipt
- Review special-order parts tracking
- Look for backorders and alternate methods to obtain requested parts
- Process and close open invoices
- Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
- Keep records of outside purchases, parts received, and issued, and turn completed invoices to the admin or Director for payment
- Perform ongoing inventories in the warehouse
- Know and understand the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process and use the program to achieve client satisfaction
- Know and understand the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policies and adhere to the requirements
- Attend weekly department meetings
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience in parts, ideally with German vehicles
- CDK experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
