Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Children's Trust of South Carolina plays a critical role in enhancing the financial viability of the organization. As a skilled financial leader, the CFO will create and effectively deploy financial strategies that support the organization's mission to prevent child abuse and neglect.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and programmatic support to the organization, working closely with the CEO on strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and new funding acquisition.
- Oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure effective resource allocation and management.
Qualifications
- Be a certified public accountant (CPA) with a master's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a relevant field.
- Have five to seven years of financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization with greater than ten people.
- Advanced knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
