Position Details:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinical Care Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the long-term care setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing the nursing process to deliver personalized care.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Documenting patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided in accordance with established standards.
- Employing technology to enhance the quality of care.
- Supervising unlicensed personnel and ensuring accountability for patient assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the dignity and privacy of residents while promoting their independence and choice.
- Ensure a safe and pleasant living environment for all residents.
- Demonstrate nursing competencies and adhere to age-specific standards in your practice.
- Utilize effective communication skills to resolve conflicts and collaborate with team members, patients, and families.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current, unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board.
- Completion of required continuing education and competency training.
