Clinical Respite Nurse, RN or LPN

We are seeking a dedicated Respite Nurse who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses a minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals facing severe and persistent mental health challenges.
This role involves providing essential oversight, guidance, and support to clients in comprehending their medical conditions, along with delivering necessary direct medical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate and consult with clients and staff on medical health, medications, and related topics.
- Conduct individualized training sessions tailored to specific needs.
- Develop and facilitate group sessions and training on health and wellness topics, including nutrition, exercise, and smoking cessation.
- Assist clients in accessing community resources to enhance their health and wellness.
- Provide guidance and support to clients in understanding their medical conditions.
- Engage with clients and staff to discuss medical diagnoses, symptoms, and treatment options.
- Administer direct medical care as prescribed by a physician, which may include monitoring vital signs and wound care.
- Review medical documentation for each client and offer consultation and coordination of medical care as necessary.
- Support ongoing assessment of symptoms and treatment effectiveness, identifying appropriate responses and actions.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with no weekends or holidays.
Compensation:
LPN: $60,000 annually
RN: $74,680 annually
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
- Licenses & Certifications:
LPN: NH Driver's License
RN: MA Driver's License - Experience: Minimum of 3 years working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
Skills:
Intermediate proficiency in computer software, communication, and administrative tasks is preferred.
