CNC Machine Repair Specialist

Job Summary
Hartwig is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Repair Specialist to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, inspecting, and troubleshooting CNC machines for our customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Repair and Installation: Conduct high-quality, efficient, and timely repair and installation of CNC machines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Recommend modifications and improvements to machines, equipment, and processes.
- Training and Instruction: Train and instruct customers on service, repair, and proper installation.
- Technical Support: Use software and electrical tools to find damaged work parts and identify permanent solutions to repair computer-controlled machines and accessories.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary tasks in our service software and timecard system on a daily basis.
- Travel: Travel to customer sites, usually within 3 hours from home, with occasional overnight travel.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Formal education or training in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of CNC Machines preferred. 4 years of demonstrated mechanical and electrical experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently, a go-getter that finds the next customer that needs our help. Good driving record and valid driver's license to ensure fleet vehicle insurability.

Compensation and Benefits
