Position Overview:

In this role, you will operate a mobile footwear store (either a 45' tractor-trailer or a box truck) to visit industrial customer sites based on pre-arranged appointments, providing service for company safety shoe benefit programs.

Your primary focus will be delivering outstanding customer service to employees, with no cold calling involved.

Compensation Package:
This position offers a salary structure complemented by sales commissions. The salary range is between $53,000 - $70,400, with the potential for total first-year earnings of $80,000 - $85,000. Additionally, a sign-on bonus of $3,000 is available.

Your Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting and fitting footwear, including shoes and boots. Maintain inventory levels and stock on the mobile unit. Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges while on the mobile store.

Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations for safe operation of the mobile unit. Accurately maintain a DOT logbook in accordance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Branch/DC for inventory replenishment.

Coordinate with our Truck Leasing partner for parking, fueling, and maintenance of the mobile unit. Keep the warehouse and mobile store showroom organized and clean.


Your Qualifications:

Must possess a CDL Class A license. Technical proficiency to navigate and update systems and tools is essential. Customer visits may involve overnight travel from Monday to Friday (averaging 1 to 2 overnights per week, with variations).
Comfortable standing for extended periods, including frequent bending and reaching. The primary service area spans approximately a 150-mile radius. Steel toe footwear is mandatory at all times. Candidates must pass a physical examination and maintain a current medical card to operate the mobile unit. A clean driving record is required, and random drug and alcohol testing is mandated by DOT regulations.
