Role Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care while overseeing all unit operations. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC ensures nursing care aligns with established protocols and serves as a key resource for staff, enhancing the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Facilitate admission and discharge processes.
  • Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to drive improved patient outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship, feedback, and training to enhance staff performance and engagement.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Nursing graduate with an RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience demonstrating leadership and management capabilities.
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Preferred: Two (2) years of RN experience in a Charge Nurse capacity.
  • Must hold a current RN license in the practicing state.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 60 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.

This position requires full COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations unless an exemption is approved.
