About the Role

Constellation Energy is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our Mobile Turbine/Rotating Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing general mechanical maintenance on power plant equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair work on plant equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, fans, turbines, bearings, boilers, pipe systems, valves, and limit torque operators.
  • Use sound technical decisions to maintain complex mechanical equipment, adhering to established maintenance standards and practices.
  • Work on cross-functional teams on major projects, executing work packages to the level of training received.
  • Coordinate activities with other plant personnel, work groups, and vendors, communicating with station departments involving maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Provide technical support to plant operations, maintenance staff, and engineering, to the level of training received.
  • Perform alignment on rotating equipment, fitting, and welding tasks when qualified.
  • Verify maintenance items covered in maintenance technician training.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Power Plant Technology, Engineering Technology, or Electronics with a minimum of 3 years of trade or technical training in Power Plant Technology.
  • 5 years' experience in Maintenance Tech II or equivalent years of experience with trade or technical training in Power Plant Technology or relevant field experience.
  • Previous Foreman or supervisory experience.
  • Previous trade union experience (millwright or pipefitting).
  • Welding qualifications.
  • Machinist experience.
