Job Description

LST is seeking an experienced technical professional to support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Enterprise Programs, Infrastructure, and Communications Services (EPICS) Support Task Order.

Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level technical leadership for the CSS-FD team, facilitating meetings, leading engineering discussions, and ensuring alignment with FAA enterprise visions and strategies.
  • Support the development and management of technical investment analysis activities, including market surveys, cost analysis, benefits analysis, risk analysis, and requirements definition.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate the technical team execution of all task support activities, reviewing and supporting AMS documentation development, coordinating schedules, and preparing activity and progress reports.
  • Implement tools to track work, mitigate risks, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure deliverables are on schedule.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • At least 11-15 years of experience in systems engineering and project management, with experience leading a development and engineering contract with the FAA.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent project or program management certification is preferred.
Work Requirements
  • Remote work acceptable.
  • 40 hours per week (FTE).
  • 0-20% travel.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular and prolonged periods of working at a computer terminal.
  • Occasional lifting of equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move around the office environment to access computer hardware, networking equipment, and server rooms.
