Job Summary

Ascensus Specialties is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team in Newburyport, MA. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of hazardous chemicals throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for physically pulling finished inventory from stock for shipment, matching picking tickets with stock items, and delivering to the Shipping Department.
  • Using information found on picking tickets, process boxes on a UPS World Ship system.
  • Open daily receiving, matching up purchase order numbers on vendor's packing slips with our purchase orders, and verifying box contents.
  • Using information found on picking tickets, box up daily orders for shipment via UPS, Federal Express, and DHL.
  • Responsible for end-of-day cleanup, including trash, emptying recycled cardboard, sweeping benches and floor, and restocking boxes, cans, and bubble pack.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the lead and supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
