Job Title: Retail Pharmacy Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated pharmacist to join our team at Cardinal Health as a Retail Pharmacy Manager. In this role, you will have the chance to utilize your pharmacy operations and business skills in addition to your clinical ambulatory pharmacy expertise in a growing community health center system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with administrative and physician leadership within partner Community Health Centers to implement pharmacist-driven clinical and dispensing services to patients.
  • Develop and implement collaborative practice agreements to drive patient medication compliance for high-risk patients.
  • Implement best practices and ensure department compliance with 340B rules and regulations.
  • Ensure adequate staffing is present to fulfill the needs of the pharmacy and health center.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prescription medication received and dispensed.
  • Ensure policies are in place regarding accurate dispensing and labeling of prescriptions and those policies are followed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
  • 1 year pharmacy management experience, 2-5 years related pharmacy experience.
  • Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
  • Multitasking and time management skills.
  • 340B Experience preferred, not required.
  • Clinical ambulatory pharmacy experience and/or interest a definite plus.
