Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surveillance Officer to join our team at Delaware Park Casino & Racing. As a Surveillance Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and providing exceptional service to our guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to calls and requests for surveillance coverage in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct surveillance through the CCTV system, utilizing necessary equipment to observe, report, and record procedural violations and unusual activities.
  • Communicate violations to supervisory personnel and document incidents accurately and thoroughly.
  • Write reports, complete logs, and maintain spreadsheets to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct reviews as assigned and document equipment malfunctions.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of internal controls, company policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests, promoting positive relations and a safe environment.
  • Attend court as needed and testify in cases involving surveillance recordings and documents.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in casino surveillance or Table Games & Poker preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully complete and maintain the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively communicate with co-workers and management, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, work independently with minimal supervision, and sit for at least a full eight-hour shift.
  • Basic working knowledge of computer technology and software, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and adhere to the Close Personal Relationship Policy - Fraternization.
