  • Operational Management: Manages the operation of all mechanical systems, including maintenance, and program management to ensure operational and cost effectiveness.
  • Staff Management: Manages the maintenance of all facilities, including space management, structural management, construction management, janitorial care, landscape maintenance, campus security, and parking.
  • Organizational Development: Develops organizational structure and staffing to ensure skills and coverage necessary to provide for the effective operation and maintenance of all facilities and systems.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field or equivalent work experience in the industry.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of management experience in facilities planning, project, and/or facilities management.
  • Skills: Significant experience in all areas of facilities management, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, automated building systems, staff, vendor, and contract management.
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions:
  • Physical Demands: Sedentary to light physical activities requiring stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and close vision.
  • Occasional Lifting: Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Work in the field will include exposure to weather, proximity to moving mechanical parts, vibration, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, confined/restricted areas, and working in high, exposed places.
