Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at Apptronik. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and executing system test campaigns to verify the performance of our Apollo platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing Expertise: Collaborate with the engineering team to develop verification test plans spanning the product life cycle, conduct comprehensive testing from component-level through assembly to final-level testing, and analyze test data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis, conduct root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions to enhance product maturity, manufacturing efficiency, and quality.
  • New Product Introduction: Develop work instructions and test procedures for new products to facilitate seamless integration into the manufacturing process.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate familiarity with pneumatics, servo motors, motion controllers, PLC, and PC-based control systems, and proficiency in Python is highly desirable.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure machine qualification through calibration, correlation, capability, repeatability, and reproducibility, and implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure the reliability of test results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant experience.
  • 5+ Years of Test Engineering experience related to complex electro-mechanical products.
  • Proven experience in product/system level testing, with a focus on component-level through assembly & post-build.
  • Strong understanding of robotics principles, pneumatics, servo motors, motion controllers, PLC, and PC-based control systems.
  • Familiarity with optics principles and their application in positioning and alignment machines.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis, PFMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
