Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an L&D RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to women during the birthing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients throughout labor and provide emotional support
  • Assist physicians with medical procedures, such as epidurals and cesarean deliveries
  • Perform tasks such as checking the cervix, monitoring contractions, and providing breathing techniques
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and newborns
  • Aid in the immediate care of newborns
Requirements
  • 3 years of recent acute care experience
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift 20 pounds, and move patients as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
