Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission and vision.

Job Summary:

The Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care to women in labor and their newborns. This includes assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to women in labor and their newborns
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or Compact State
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
  • At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
  • CPI Training & Certification required within 6 months
