About the Role

Dollar General is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Lead Sales Associate to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Lead Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading by example, and driving sales growth in our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks and receive merchandise according to company procedures
  • Stock merchandise, rotate and face products on shelves, and build displays
  • Assist customers with locating merchandise and provide excellent customer service
  • Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total customer purchases
  • Collect payment from customers and make change
  • Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and knowledge of cash handling procedures
  • Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills
  • Understanding of safety policies and practices
