We are seeking a skilled and flexible individual to support our research projects in the lab of Dr. DiFeliceantonio at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at Virginia Tech Carilion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insert IV catheters as needed for research projects
  • Work on an hourly basis to accommodate flexible scheduling
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to combine techniques and methodologies from neuroscience, nutrition, metabolism, and psychology
Requirements
  • Training and experience in placing IV catheters
  • Demonstrated experience in IV catheter placement
  • Background in a relevant field such as neuroscience, biology, chemistry, nutrition, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience in an academic or research setting
  • Associate's degree or higher and relevant phlebotomy experience
