Job Overview:
The Logistics Process Improvement Engineer will spearhead and facilitate the initiatives for Continuous Improvement within any Distribution Center operations. This role emphasizes the importance of process and system standardization where applicable.

Key responsibilities include prioritizing, planning, organizing, training, coaching, troubleshooting, evaluating, monitoring, providing technical support, and consistently developing business initiatives aimed at cost reduction and service enhancement.


Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess process improvement opportunities within the Distribution Centers and quantify the potential benefits to the organization.
- Collaborate with Information Systems and Distribution Center Operations teams to implement systems and process modifications.
- Conduct data analysis to support new Distribution Center projects, expansions, and updates to existing layouts.
- Develop a cost-to-serve model to support Redistribution growth initiatives and enhance the accuracy of our Distribution Center standard costs.
- Partner with the Network Modeling team and Distribution leadership to outline our long-term distribution strategy.
- Assist in the rollout of new Distribution Center systems across the network.

Engage in understanding daily operational challenges and the core functions of the business and support systems.

Work alongside Distribution and Operations Leaders to pinpoint improvements related to capital expenditures and aid in the analysis and justification for these initiatives.


Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, operations, or warehouse management.
- Formal training in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
- Experience in high-volume continuous process flow.
- Proven track record of successfully completing logistics-related projects with tangible financial outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required; familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and Network Modeling software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and cultivate robust working relationships.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
