Intermedia Group, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing incoming customer orders, reconciling pricing and lead time requests, and verifying that the plant's manufacturing capabilities can support lead-time requests.

Responsibilities:

Manage incoming customer orders, including detailed review of layout and application of equipment, wiring and schematic development, component selection, and verification of applicable codes and standards.
Reconcile pricing and lead time requests of incoming orders, using information supplied through proprietary pricing and configuration tool, order entry and invoicing system, and other communications from field sales and/or channel partners.
Verify that the plant's manufacturing capabilities can support lead-time requests.
Verify that complete and accurate order entry information has been received from field sales and/or channel partners on incoming panelboard orders.
Communicate to and follow up through appropriate channels on any discrepancies and facilitate efficient downstream order processing.
Prepare Manufacturing Information (MI) for panelboard configurations, utilizing proprietary pricing and configuration tool, AutoCAD, and Plant Order Manager as required.
Support field sales and channel partners on post-order entry issues, such as change notice pricing, delivery quotations, Sales Engineer technical application assistance, and providing value-engineering solutions.
Provide input to the price and bill-of-material configuration tool development team on design and pick table enhancements that help minimize front-end cycle time as well as improve quality and accuracy.
Provide input to the R&D department on new product application needs and designs as well as design refinements.
Interface with customers, channel partners, field sales, and order management functional team through participation in plant visits, training support, and customer events.
Exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. Ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton's quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process. Perform quality checks as instructed.
Receive and perform work assignments from management and internal customers to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner. Closely follow established procedures for completing assigned functions and perform special assignments and/or projects as assigned.
Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner.
Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals.
Keep assigned work-area clean and organized per 5S standards.
Work with members of a team to effectively complete work assignments. Receive information from team members regarding customer needs and product requirements and utilize this information to perform one's function.
Exhibit strong analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve any obstacles or delays that may occur in the production process.
Perform Lean Initiatives by recommending suggestions for improvement related to quality, work processes, and environmental safety and health.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Drafting software (AutoCAD)
Understanding of electricity (ohms law, wiring diagrams)
Customer service skills (email is majority, then phone)

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated technical and application knowledge of panel boards
