We are seeking an experienced Emergency Flight Crew Member to join our team at Penn State Health. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference in people's lives.
About the Role
As an Emergency Flight Crew Member, you will be responsible for operating a rotorcraft to transport patients to healthcare facilities, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit. You will also be required to prepare flight plans, manage the loading and securing of equipment and passengers, and maintain the readiness of the aircraft.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in aircraft operation, with a minimum of 2-3 years of effective experience. You must also meet the 'Pilot-in-Command' qualifications under FAR Part 135. A Commercial pilot certificate with rotorcraft and helicopter instrument rating is essential, with an Airline Transport Pilot certificate being preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous paid time off policy and retirement plan.
