This exciting opportunity requires a professional with extensive experience in operating rotorcraft to transport emergency teams and patients to health care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flight Operations: Safely operate rotorcraft to transport emergency teams and patients, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.
  • Pre-flight Preparations: Ensure the readiness of the aircraft for flights, overseeing loading, weight distribution, and securing of equipment, provisions, and passengers.
  • Logistical Planning: Prepare flight plans, taking into account weather conditions, air traffic control instructions, and other factors that may impact flight safety.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree or training equivalent to a two-year program in aircraft operation, plus 2 to 3 years of effective experience.
  • Certifications: FAA Commercial pilot certificate with rotorcraft and helicopter instrument rating required (Airline Transport Pilot certificate is preferred).
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 2,000 hours total time, 3,000 hours preferred, including previous EMS experience or military medevac-type flight experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Time in AS365 series and/or H155 model.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
