We are seeking an experienced Business Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in advising our clients on legal matters, ensuring their interests are protected while helping them grow their businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on a wide range of business matters, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to minimize risks and protect clients' interests.
  • Advise clients on compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Represent clients in disputes, including litigation, mediation, and arbitration.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored legal strategies.
  • Assist with the formation of new business entities, including LLCs and corporations.
  • Partner-level opportunity is available but would require a Business Operations Background.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in West Virginia.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in business law or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
