Key Responsibilities:- Quality Assessment: Execute quality and sampling plans for incoming materials, in-process evaluations, and final inspections.
- Compliance Monitoring: Identify and escalate quality and compliance issues related to products and processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Engineering to manage nonconformance records and initiate holds on affected products.
- Inspection Activities: Conduct receiving inspections, in-process checks, and lot acceptance as per established quality protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections and document any nonconformance issues thoroughly.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in at least two of the following areas: incoming receiving, in-process, or lot acceptance inspections.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection, ideally within a medical device or component manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of basic Quality Systems, including nonconformance and equipment calibration.
- Familiarity with inspection standards and the ability to read and comprehend work instructions in English.
- Proficient in computer usage and capable of utilizing hand tools effectively.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $75K - $85K, commensurate with experience.
