Maintenance Manager Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of facilities, equipment, and machinery at Oldcastle APG. This includes overseeing maintenance procedures, managing breakdowns, and implementing improvement plans to reduce downtime and improve overall site operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and optimize production
  • Manage and direct maintenance teams to ensure effective and efficient maintenance operations
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform quality checks to identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with vendors to source and procure necessary materials and equipment
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Train and develop maintenance staff to improve skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
