Job Summary
GeorgiaGov is seeking a skilled Health Aide to join our team. As a Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including vital sign monitoring and documentation.
- Assist patients with daily living skills, such as bathing and activities of daily living.
- Transport patients to appointments and activities, ensuring their safety and security.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams and crisis de-escalation.
- Conduct environment rounds and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or GED and one year of experience providing direct care services to mental health and/or substance abuse and/or developmentally delayed individuals.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a hospital, nursing home, or group home setting.
