MRO Parts Logistics Specialist

Position Overview:
This role focuses on the management of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials, specifically handling the reception of customer returns and assisting our warehouse team with the retrieval of parts for work orders.

This hourly position will report directly to the MRO Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
The individual in this position must exhibit a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of materials returned by customers. Responsibilities include:

  • Unpacking customer returns and verifying the accompanying documentation.
  • Properly disposing of packaging materials.
  • Generating work orders for each return in the ERP system.
  • Recording the condition of received parts, including taking photographs of labels and any damage.
  • Addressing discrepancies in purchase orders by collaborating with MRO Customer Service.
  • Implementing FIFO (First In, First Out) methodology when pulling materials.
  • Ensuring accurate transfer of traceability information during stocking, retrieval, and issuance of materials.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to pass initial and random FAA Drug/Alcohol screening.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
