Heavy Civil Crane Operator

Webber is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Civil Crane Operator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for operating a lattice boom type crane to hoist and move materials, raise and lower heavy weights, and perform other related operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a Lattice Boom Crane: Safely and efficiently operate a lattice boom type crane to hoist and move materials, raise and lower heavy weights, and perform other related operations.
- Conduct Pre-Operational Checks: Conduct pre-operational checks on the crane to ensure it is in good working condition and ready for use.
- Perform Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the crane, including oiling, greasing, and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with other team members to ensure safe and efficient operation of the crane and other heavy equipment.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Experience as a Crane Operator: Five (5) years of experience as a crane operator on road and bridge construction projects is required.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English via verbal and written communications.
- Physical Demands: Ability to move throughout a construction jobsite, including minor obstacles, and perform heavy physical activity.
- Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
- Work Environment: Ability to work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions.
